Under the umbrella of Virginia based Metatron Productions, LLC, this inspirational original follows the adventures of Elijah, a ten-year-old farm-boy and his faithful dog Jack caught up in the struggle for Independence during the American Revolutionary War spanning from Valley Forge through the 1778 Battle of Monmouth. http://ElijahandGeorge.com

Miss Clarke shares: “Bringing the project to New Jersey aligns with the integrity of the story where the historical battle took place. Michael Timpanaro, Park Historian at Monmouth Battlefield State Park has been a wealth of support. NJ Film Commission Executive Director Jon Crowley and Director John Baldasare have welcomed us with red carpet service.”

New Jersey has an attractive tax incentive program and offers favorable logistics with professional crew options, elements required for a historical drama with a large scale battle scene and overall production design needs.

The movie is inspired by the book George Washington's Army and Me by New Jersey Native, Award Winning Author and Illustrator Michael Dooling. The story captures the little known world of General Washington's Civilian Army of 2000 Women, Children and Men who supported the Soldiers on the march.

Mr. Dooling: “Andrea read the book and loved it. She has a great sense of storytelling and could see Elijah’s character coming to life. It is a big picture movie that adults and children alike can appreciate. Filled with adventure, drama, and humor George Washington’s Army and Me is tailor-made for the big screen. In my research, I found The Battle of Monmouth lends itself to the storyline that I had imagined. Many soldiers died of heat exhaustion and many went missing from the battle. I inserted my character Elijah into the plot and weaved a tale of an impossible adventure.”
Josh Murray as General George Washington

Mr. Murray shares: “Portraying a young George Washington during the French and Indian War in "Alone Yet Not Alone" was one of the most special roles I've prepared for. Now 15 years later, getting the chance to portray him again at one the most pivotal moments of his life is a bit surreal. I love the dimensionality that Elijah and George - A Revolutionary Tale reflects on the great man, both as a daring soldier and a kindly gentleman, powerful yet sensitive. I'm eagerly looking forward to making this film a reality!”
Quinton Castle as William "Billy" Lee

Mr. Castle adds: “If you look at the bare bones of Washington and Lee’s relationship, you will find that Lee had way more privy to information and strategy during the American Revolutionary War than any other person. Being an African American and with my heritage, it really means a lot to portray Billy Lee and bring to the screen his story that has been historically undermined and overall untold.”

Miss cCarke has her sights set on a Christmas 2026 theatrical premiere—celebrating 250 years of national history with a story that inspires and unites. As the production gears up for a Spring 2026 shoot, Miss Clarke is inviting sponsors and investors to join this extraordinary journey from script to screen.

Now Playing Miss Clarke and Co-Producer Chris Korkalo have released a Full Cast Audio Drama that ties into the movie. http://ARevolutionaryTale.com Listen to the preview trailer:
